WEDNESDAY EVENING CLASSES – COMPETITIVE OBEDIENCE

We offer a Newcomers Class from 7.00 pm to 8.00 pm which is open to anyone who is seriously interested in taking up competitive obedience as a hobby/sport. The class is instructed by Jenny Harknett who has been competing successfully in obedience for over 20 years. The class covers all the basic Pre-Beginner, Beginner and Novice exercises and aims to prepare handlers for their introduction into the obedience show ring, either at Companion Dog Show level, or at Open Show level. The Novice/A/B class is instructed by Fran Godfrey, currently working Championship C classes with her dog, Inca. Fran has also been competing successfully for 20 years with various breeds of dogs. A good level of support is offered by all members of the Wednesday night section to new members just starting out competing at the shows.
